The thousands of Guatemalan families who attended lived special moments with the lighting of the entire park and a series of activities, including the presentation of the musical “Navidad de Encanto”.
The Christmas parade toured the facilities of Mundo Petapa accompanied by the band and, of course, the floats with the iconic characters of the Institute for Recreation of Workers of the Private Company of Guatemala (IRTRA).
“The Christmas season is a very special time, during which being able to share with the family is valued. We have worked hard to be able to provide special moments full of congratulations to all Guatemalan families, and we invite you to visit our facilities so that you can live unforgettable moments all together”, indicated Ricardo Castillo Sinibaldi, president of the IRTRA board of directors.
The opening activity of this very special season ended with a light show in the Central Plaza, delighting everyone present, because over time, IRTRA has managed to materialize dreams, desires, development, opportunities, creativity and unforgettable moments. through each and every one of the activities that it carries out.

These are some of the many activities designed to enjoy magical experiences during the Christmas Season at IRTRA’s Mundo Petapa.
- Snow show on December 10 and 17 in the Plaza Divertida from 7:00 to 8:00 at night.
- Fantasy Jazz Band, on Saturdays December 3, 10 and 17, as well as Sundays December 4, 11 and 18 in La Ceiba at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- Musical Show “Navidad de Encanto”, Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon.
- Light show, Saturdays December 10 and 17 and Sundays November 27 and December 4, when the park closes.
- Marimba concerts and choir presentation in Plaza Mi Barrio.
