The organizers of the traditional Max Tott Half Marathon dedicated this edition to the high performance athlete, multiple medalist with 30 years of experience, José Amado García. This competition is one of the oldest that began on January 29, 1938, at the initiative of Max Tott from Coban. .
The categories where they can participate are: youth (14 to 17 years old), free: (18 to 39), master (40 to 59), supermaster (60 and over), blind and wheelchair. The race will pass next to the Candelaria church, Asunción bridge, Jardines de la Asunción boulevard, La Paz boulevard, Austrian-Guatemalan Institute, Ciudad Cayalá, Rafael Landívar boulevard, Vista Hermosa boulevard, Campo de Marte, Honor Guard, until reach the finish line, the Doroteo Guamuch Stadium.
