Guatemala City, November 23 (AGN).- The Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (inguat) held a business conference in El Salvador as part of the actions to market Guatemalan services and products.
The main objective of the activity was to present to Salvadoran businessmen the different tourist proposals that Guatemala presents.
In this sense, a presentation was made to wholesalers and operators from the neighboring country, in which photographs and experiences of the most emblematic destinations were shared.
In addition, Inguat highlighted the tourist destination of Sololá in its presentation, highlighting that it has the most beautiful lake in the world, in order to include this destination in the end-of-year travel packages.

In addition to the informative activities, the Guatemalan authorities held a cultural night in which dances and expressions of national art were presented.
For this reason, the folkloric ballet of the Municipality of San Pedro Sacatepéquez, San Marcos, appeared before the invited businessmen.
All this made it possible to publicize the attractions that Guatemala has, so that people from other countries become interested in the country.

What is sought is to promote tourism internationally and especially nationally, so that Guatemalans can enjoy the wealth of the country.

That is why it coordinates with companies and people dedicated to tourism to share packages and special offers during this time.
In addition, the entity stressed that domestic tourism is essential for the transformation of the country.
