Subjects on a motorcycle chase their victim to kill him and in a shootout they injure three passers-by (one dies in hospital).
The Departmental Municipal Firefighters reported that on the night of this Friday, November 18, a an armed attack on 1st street and 4th avenue in zone 4 of the city of Chimaltenango.
They added that on the spot a man of approximately 25 years was deceased due to multiple gunshot wounds he sustained.
While local media reported that three people were injured and were taken to a nearby hospital.
They added that curious people indicated that They heard several gunshots.
Then they saw two individuals on a motorcycle chasing a man who ran for cover.
The shots hit the three pedestrians who were injured, while the hitmen caught up with their victim and killed herreported the page Chimaltenango. One of the injured people died at the hospital.
In another incident, the Volunteer Firefighters reported that In the San Sebastián neighborhood, Zacapa, a woman was shot dead.
The victim’s body was left on the side of the sidewalk and the reason for the attack is unknown.
