The semifinal match of the First Division between Juventud Pinulteca and Zacapa ends with riots between fans
An incident was recorded again in a First Division match. This time it was in the confrontation between Juventud Pinulteca and CSD Zacapa in the semifinals of Apertura 2022.
Juventud Pinulteca and CSD Zacapa faced each other this Sunday in the match that would define one of the finalists of the 2022 Opening Tournament, leaving the fight for promotion to the major league as the first classified to the roosters, who claimed 50% of the future pass when you reach the final.
Zacapa ended up winning the semifinals thanks to the positive result of the first leg (1-0).
However, after the end of the match at the San Miguel stadium, there were incidents between the local fans (Juventud Pinulteca) and the visitors (Zacapa).
According to different reports, the disturbances began in an area behind one of the goals. Subsequently, images were shared on social networks where it can be seen that those involved verbally attack and throw objects at other people in the stands of the stadium.
In a video published by the League First Division Football Guatemala It can be seen that the remaining fans entered the field to protect themselves, while several people were attended by emergency services.
