The tasting of 8 specialty coffees from Guatemala was led by Venezuelan barista Simón Cárdenas, who has extraordinary international expertise in the world of coffee and a career as a barista in South America and Europe.
The varieties that were presented were Pea Berry, Catuai, Bourbon, Catimor, Java, Caturra, Pacamara, Geisha and Anacafé 14, from Atitlán, La Antigua Guatemala, Palencia, Santa Rosa, Acatenango, Huehuetenango and Jutiapa.
