Louis van Gaal, coach of the Netherlands, announced this Friday the list of players for the team that will go to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and includes as a great novelty Xavi Simons and Jeremie Frimpong, who had never before been part of the Orange team.

Also going to Qatar are goalkeepers Justin Bijlow (Feyenoord), Remko Pasveer (Ajax) and Andries Noppert (sc Heerenveen).
13 players who had been selected on the provisional list have fallen, including Jasper Cillessenwhich last summer changed Valencia for NEC Nijmegen precisely to increase its chances of participating in the World Cup in Qatar.
Cillessen has so far played 63 games with the orange team, but he missed the last European Championship due to a positive for coronavirus.
