They will develop festivals of products made by Mipyme

Guatemala City, Nov 11 (AGN).- From November 12 to 18, the Ministry of Economy (Mineco) will develop various activities to promote micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including festivals of Guatemalan products.

The first event to be held will be the Loquat Festival, in the Plaza San Juan del Obispo, in Sacatepéquez. This festival is held annually with the aim of strengthening the local economy.

Likewise, on Sunday, November 13, the Easter Festival will be held in San Miguel Dueñas, Sacatepéquez.

Next week

According to the Mineco, the workshop is scheduled for Monday, November 14 Basic operation of sewing machinesin Santa Lucia Milpas Altas, Sacatepéquez.

In addition, on Tuesday the 15th three events are scheduled:

  • Chocolate Festival, in the departmental capital of Quetzaltenango
  • workshop Creation of online storewith the support of the platform marketing Kolau, in Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez
  • final presentation of the process of strengthening sustainable enterprises, in Panajachel, Sololá

In addition, on November 16, a workshop on good manufacturing practices will be held for entrepreneurs from Santa Lucía La Reforma, in Totonicapán.

Likewise, on November 17, an exchange of experiences will be promoted between the Renace hydroelectric complex and Mineco, in Cobán, Alta Verapaz.

That same day, an online store creation workshop will be held, in which entrepreneurs from Escuintlecos can participate.

This workshop will also be given to Mipyme de Jalapa on Friday, November 18.

Entrepreneur Route

The Mineco promotes various workshops, trainings and events to promote Mipyme products, as part of the strategy Entrepreneur Route.

This initiative was launched on May 18 and aims to accompany entrepreneurs in the different stages of their training.

This is intended to promote formality and job creation in the country.
