Mardoqueo Vásquez one step away from the title! Esdras Morales prevails in Patzicía and wins the ninth stage
This Monday the ninth of ten stages of the Vuelta a Guatemala 2022 was held, which left the Hino-One rider Esdras Morales as the winner with a time of 3 hours 13 minutes and 10 seconds.
Morales, along with Carlos Gutiérrez from Colombia (second to 11 seconds) and Alexis Quinteros from Ecuador (third, 11 seconds), starred in the great escape of the stage, the three cyclists rode alone for more than 100 kilometers and shared the intermediate prizes.
