Fabián Hernández Menchú is one of the members of the family who decided to create the restaurant, coming from Quiché and told us that they decided to make their culture known through food. In addition to satisfying the tastes of Guatemalans in Houston, Texas, El K’iche has also fallen in love with people of different nationalities. What a chili!
They originally opened doors in mid-2019 as a bakery, selling traditional Totonicapán breads. Later, as it gained more popularity, it became a restaurant and began to offer other typical Guatemalan dishes, pampering its customers with the popular marimba music.
