Guatemala City, Oct 28 (AGN).- The color of Guatemalan handicrafts will be available at the Paseo Artesanal fair.
The craft fair will take place this Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, at Concordia Park, between 5a. and 6a. avenues, between 14 and 15 streets in zone 1 of the capital, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Likewise, the activity will take place on Sunday, November 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
For this reason, the Secretary of Social Works of the President’s Wife (SOSEP) invites the Guatemalan population to attend the activity and to purchase handicrafts from different parts of the country.
In addition, he made a call to acquire all kinds of handicrafts and original products made by hand by entrepreneurs from all over the country.

Support for women
In this sense, the SOSEP reported that it carries out training for women entrepreneurs. This through the Program for the Improvement of the Socioeconomic Conditions of Women.
From that account, he announced that the program provides advice, training and support to women from different departments of the country. This so that they can start their own ventures, and then be able to market their products.
Beneficiaries
Currently, this is the program that has the most beneficiaries, with 42,000 nationwide.
For this reason, more and more women are organizing in their communities to request support from SOSEP in terms of training and technical assistance.
