Know the route and all the data about the eighth stage that will be held this Sunday
Only three stages remain in the 61st Cycling Tour of Guatemala, this Sunday being the eighth.
With a distance of 133 kilometers, the eighth stage will start its course from San Andrés Semetabaj, Sololá, passing through Chimaltenango and with the goal located in Ciudad Vieja, Sacatepéquez.
The peloton will run the three-lap circuit starting at 9:30 in the morning and will pass through the following points: San Andrés Semetebaj, Godínez, Las Cruces, Patzún, Patzicía, El Tejar and Ciudad Vieja.
The stage will have three flying goals and six mountain prizes.
Flying Goals:
- Las Canoas village, first step (kilometer 11.3)
- Las Canoas village, third step (kilometer 41.3)
- Patzún Park (km 93.4)
Mountain Awards:
- Godínez, first step (kilometer 85) / 4th. category, raised to 3%
- Godínez, second step (kilometer 23.5) / 4th. category, raised to 3%
- Godínez, third step (kilometer 38.5) / 4th. category, raised to 3%
- Chichoy Paraíso, special category (kilometer 78.2 / 2nd category, increase to 14%
- Chipiacul Village (km 83.7) / 2nd. category, raised to 14%
- La Canoa village (kilometer 101) / 4th. category
