INSIVUMEH reports at least 24 tremors over the weekend
October is saying goodbye with a series of tremors, according to the records of the National Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (INSIVUMEH).
The global report of the last 24 hours, issued at about 10 in the morning, had a total of 23 seismic eventsof which the official document reported that only one was sensitive.
This tremor was recorded by the INSIVUMEH measurement systems on Saturday, October 29, at about 5:40 p.m., with the Pacific Ocean as its epicenter, off the coast of Mexico.
At noon this Sunday, October 30, INSIVUMEH reported another tremor, which could be considered sensitive.
This occurred at 12 hours and 17 minutes with a magnitude of 4.3 degrees, according to the authorities, its epicenter was in the Pacific Ocean, and could be sensitive in San Marcos, Retalhuleu and Quetzaltenango.
So far this year they have documented 3 thousand 752 tremors, of which 80 have been considered as sensitive by the INSIVUMEH authorities.
