The South American crossed the finish line located in the Parque de Santa Cruz del Quiché with a preliminary time of 3 hours 27 minutes and 52 seconds while the Guatemalan Sergio Chumil (Hino-One), 1 minute and 8 seconds ahead of Montenegro, came second.
