Opportunities
According to Ana Chan, head of Senacyt, companies in the region are clear about the value of investing in innovation, research and development to capitalize on their competitive advantages in scenarios of uncertainty where the digital economy is driving the development of new businesses.
Likewise, it is demanding more specialized human capital, which reinforces the importance of generating new capacities.
When we talk about digital transformation or technology transfer we are not only referring to the inclusion of technologies, we must conceive it as a culture rather than an isolated program or strategy, the official stressed.
