The current defender of the Vuelta Ciclística a Guatemala championship, Mardoqueo Vásquez, took an important step this Wednesday in search of revalidating the title he won in 2020.

After a 2021 in which the Vuelta was not held due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mardoqueo Vásquez had to wait almost two years to return to being the leader in the most important cycling event in Guatemala.
