BBQ Challenge Xela, an activity for meat lovers

This year, for the first time, the bbq-challenge in Xela, an event in which, in addition to enjoying delicious dishesyou will support social works. What a chili!

In this culinary challenge, professionals and amateurs will compete to show who can prepare the best recipe in five categories.

Quetzaltecos will be able to be part of the first edition this gastronomic competition in which 20 teams will face each other to show who is better Xela grill.

Teams made up of professionals and amateursprepare their best dish in the categories beef, tri tip, pork neck, rib pork and chicken. In total, the contestants will prepare 80 recipes that attendees will be able to taste.

Activities for the general public

In addition to a competition, the bbq-challenge It is a family and artistic space where you will enjoy good times with the best seasoning.

The event will feature community activities, children’s play areas, prepared drinks and the tasting of the recipes of the competing teams.

Fundraising event for social works in Xela

The BBQ Challenge Xela It is organized by the Rotary Club Guatemala de la Ermita, the Satellite Club of Quetzaltenango and the Rotary Club Los Altos Quetzaltenango in order to raise funds for social works in the department of Quetzaltenango.

This event is also held every year in Guatemala, this year marked 10 years in which the community of grill lovers gathers to support other Guatemalans.
