How to prepare if there is an economic recession in the United States in 2023?
Since last month, the economic outlook has deteriorated in the United States due to fears of weak demand, in a context of rising interest rates, as confirmed on October 19 by the Federal Reserve in its Beige Book.
The US central bank report indicates that fears of recession spread to several of the areas monitored by the agency, 12 in total.
On that occasion, he pointed out that “the outlook is more pessimistic in a context of growing concerns about the weakening of demand,” says the central bank in the report of its survey carried out in late September and early October.
The economy should cool down in the coming months as strong inflation erodes household income.
