President highlights that Guatemala is seen as an investment country
Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Oct 19 (AGN).- President Alejandro Giammattei highlighted this Wednesday that the Forbes forum in Spanish made Guatemala an investment country.
The Forbes Forum in Spanish allows the exchange with several businessmen, who look at Guatemala as an important investment destination, the ruler pointed out.
The president highlighted that a series of meetings were held where businessmen expressed their interest in investing in Guatemala.
The statements were given at the conclusion of the bilateral meetings in Antigua Guatemala, within the framework of the second day of debates of this special event.

Exceed the investment goal
President Giammattei indicated that these meetings are expected to finalize several agreements that will help increase foreign direct investment, whose 2022 goal of 1.5 billion dollars was exceeded.
We hope to have investment planned for next year and to be able to reach the goal of one thousand 700 million dollars in foreign direct investment, which is a reality, pointed out.
