Madrid’s frustration at the end turned to relief after Benzema managed to celebrate after his third attempt; the first two were annulled by the VAR as well as another by the Austrian David Alaba.

The real Madrid demonstrated an associative soccer right this Wednesday against the team that occupies the last place in the LaLiga table, but the goal eluded him on several occasions.

With this win, Real Madrid consolidates its leadership in LaLiga with 28 points while Elche’s ship sank in last position and only three units.
