“Nearshoring is Guatemala’s great opportunity”
Guatemala City, Oct 18 (AGN).- The former president of Mexico, Felipe Calderón, is one of the special guests at the first Forbes Economy and Business Forum in Spanish, where he highlighted that nearshoring is Guatemala’s great opportunity.
In this special event, the country seeks to attract investments that represent employment opportunities for the Guatemalan population, which helps to continue on the path of development and economic growth.

Calderón emphasized that nearshoring favors the country because many of the American companies are looking for where to invest. Latin America is a great opportunity.
Another factor highlighted by the former Mexican president is that many companies they seek to invest in the same time zone, with easy access to the American market, with logistical ease that the president (Alejandro Giammattei) already mentioned: go for them, see what they are, what they need, and bring them to them immediately.
