The history of Fayco was born in 1965 with the San Rafael and Lourdes Pharmacies, they were founded by Guillermo Enrique Paiz and Francisco José Valdez, both entrepreneurs came together to strengthen and grow the number of branches. In 1999, his children, Lucía and Guillermo Paiz, took over the reins of the company and changed its name to what it is known today.
Its new establishment is located at 16 calle 6-50 zone 14, and with which it adds pharmacy number 40, of which 4 are in the interior of the country, in Cobán, San Lucas Sacatepéquez, Antigua Guatemala and Escuintla.
“Every beginning is an adventure, Fayco is a chain of pharmacies that has been around for many years and that over time has gained experience, this inauguration gives us a lot of strength and oxygen to move forward and grow in an orderly way, the most important thing is to continue working as a team and that our children follow what we are leaving behind. We are here because my father insisted that I not sell the chain and now we continue to bet on him and we are growing, we hope that he is congratulating us from heaven,” said Guillermo Paiz, president of Farmacias Fayco.
The mission of contributing to the health of Guatemalans continues on the right foot, in each of its stores it offers pharmaceutical services in a comprehensive and personalized way, through supply to the final consumer with the highest standards of value and business ethics.
To date, Fayco serves more than 50,000 people a month, both in person and through home delivery service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and all of this is possible thanks to the fact that they have 265 collaborators.
Their great work also maintains an excellent relationship with all insurers and they hope to continue growing and providing the best, as their modernization continues.
