Guatemala will play its matches at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores

The competition schedule for the Concacaf U-17 Pre-World Cup that will be played in Guatemalan territory from February 11 to 26, 2023 has already been announced by the organization and the Guatemalan U-17 National Team will play its matches on the field of the Stadium. Doroteo Guamuch Flores.

The competition, which will serve as a qualifier for the 2023 Peru World Cup, had previously announced the draw on September 29 and the countries that will participate were already knownn.

There will be a total of 20 member Associations of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Soccer (CONCACAF) that will fight for four tickets to the World Cup distributed as follows:

Group E: Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Curaçao

Group F: USA, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados

Group G: Costa Rica, Jamaica, Cuba, Guadeloupe

Group H: Honduras, Haiti, El Salvador, Suriname

As reported by Concacaf, the group stage will take place between February 11 and 16. Groups E (where Guatemala is included) and G will play at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores National Stadium and Groups F and H will play their matches at the Pensativo Stadium, in Antigua Guatemala.

The Guatemala matches will be as follows: February 11 vs. Panama, February 13 vs. Mexico and February 15 vs. Curaçao.

The three best teams in each group will advance to the elimination phase where the teams from Bermuda, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico will join, who already had their ticket in that instance thanks to disputing a previous classification.

The round of 16, to be played at both venues, will be on February 18 and 19, and the quarterfinals, also at both stadiums, will be on February 21 and 22.

The semifinals (February 24) and the grand final (February 26) will be played at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores Stadium.
