The Communications bus suffers an attack prior to the National League match against Xelajú MC
During the night of this Saturday an incident was reported during the preview of the match between Xelajú MC and Comunicaciones on the field of the Mario Camposeco Stadium in Quetzaltenango.
The incident happened, according to the records, at the arrival of the bus that the Communications Club used to go to the stadium to carry out their training prior to the sports match on matchday 15 of the 2022 Opening Tournament.
The incident would have been caused by supposed fans of the local team, who threw objects at the “cream” transport, which caused multiple damages to the vehicle and to a member of the white coaching staff.
According to what was consulted, among the objects used in the attack, there was beer. Also slaps, between the Visible damage to the bus, broken glass can be seen. This happened at approximately 6:40 p.m., one hour and twenty minutes before the start of the game.

Among the images that were shared, you can also see a member of the coaching staff with a wound on his face.
The man with a cut in the nose area is Xavier Salazar, club physiotherapist.
Subsequently no further incidents were reported, at the time of closing this article neither Communications nor Xelajú have published anything in this regard in their official accounts and the PNC does not report arrests due to the incidents. The sporting event began as scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on the field of the Mario Camposeco Stadium in Quetzaltenango.
