Xavi trusts a “magical night” at the Camp Nou on Wednesday against Inter
“For us tomorrow is a final. We need the fans to continue supporting us as they have done so far, even with a plus. We are in an awkward situation after of the defeats in Munich and Milan”added the Barça coach at a press conference.
Regarding the approach that Inter can make in the Camp Nou, something similar to last week’s match at the Giusseppe Meazza is expected: “I think they will repeat the pattern of the first leg, defending in a low and medium block and taking advantage of their counterattack. They went very well with their goal and then we failed and there were arbitration controversies ”.
But Xavi has a clear way to reverse it. “We will go on the attack, we have to be intense. What worries us is attacking better. We have to look like Barça in the last 20-25 minutes in Milan. We have to be brave, we have no margin for error. In the first part in Milan we did not understand the roles of Raphinha and Marcos Alonso”, admitted the Catalan coach.
In addition, he said that his way of managing this limit situation for Barça in Europe is “be positive and courageous, and have personality”. And he explained that he tries to give “all the love to the players”.
Asked if he would sign a 1-0, a result that he would keep with options to qualify for Barcelona by drawing with six points against Inter Milanbut that it would not help him to trace the ‘goal average’ particular with the Italians, Xavi replied that “no” he signs it, that he prefers “a 2-0”.

On the other hand, the Barça coach reported that “except for surprise” center back Jules Koundé “will not be here tomorrow”. Instead, she left the door open for her to be in the classic: “We’ll see if she can be on Sunday. My feeling is that he can come against Real Madrid”.
