The event seeks to position itself as one of the most important at the national level and on the preferred platform of dozens of athletes. It will take place over two days, starting this Friday the 14th, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 at night and Saturday the 15th, from 6:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night.
The CrossFit competition is open to the public, with simultaneous stages in Plaza La Bandera, Plaza Principal, Jardín del Gigante, Futeca and Cardales de Cayalá.
Tecuman is born from the name of the national hero of Guatemala, Tecún Uman. This year, in its first edition, it will be the ideal opportunity for the best national athletes to exhibit themselves in one of the most recognized and important venues in the country, such as Ciudad Cayalá.

In addition to the main competition, during the Festival, two more competitions will be held, the Urban Duathlon (running/biking) and Kick Boxing (activity endorsed by the Federation). And as part of the festival, attendees will be able to enjoy special activities such as the Fitest Duo, a competition in pairs with basic CrossFit movements; Yoga classes, Functional Bike and a specialized Functional Fitness class, among others.
In this first edition of the year, the participation of more than 500 athletes of all kinds is expected, including the best 40 athletes (20 men and 20 women) who will specifically participate in the CrossFit competition. The winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to a major CrossFit competition in Miami, United States.
And as part of the closing party, there will be the participation of different artists and live DJs, in the central square of Cayalá, where you will also be able to enjoy different activities, amenities, gastronomy and a pet friendly space so that you can bring to your pets.
