This Sunday the players who are part of the Deportivo Xela squad have expressed that they do not know Amado Reyes as technical director of the institution, and accuse him of alleged harassment against soccer players from the squad.
It was at a press conference that took place on the field of the Mario Camposeco stadium after Deportivo Xela’s victory over Antigua GFCF by 3 goals to 0 that the squad spoke to the media.
The first to give statements about the event was Didra Martínez “We are gathered here for a very strong case that the team is going through, it is not the first time that this is being discussed, you are being informed until now (to the media), some of my colleagues would like to declare something, we made a decision , let’s talk about what’s going on“.

Some knew how to handle it and others that we don’t know, we are tired of this”.
The players also stated that they notified Amado that they would hold a meeting to discuss the issue, however, according to the soccer players, the coach did not show up.
