International recognition of La Aurora Zoo
International institutions have recognized the work of the La Aurora Zoo and they have also provided prizes thanks to their facilities suitable for animals. We tell you what they are:
1. One of the best Zoos in Latin America
Telemundo launched a ranking where it placed the Aurora zoo as one of the best along with zoos in Mexico, the United States and Argentina. In addition, Trip Advisor recognizes this zoo as one of the largest and most visited in the region.
2. Recognition for the best remodeling of the AZCARM 2013 Humboldt Penguins Enclosure
Since 2013, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums of the Mexican Republic has awarded the prize for the best enclosure construction or remodeling.
The points to be evaluated include: The originality of the enclosure, which resembles the natural habitat of the species, the educational component and marketing strategies. The Zoo already has this recognition!
3. Recognition for the best remodeling of the AZCARM 2014 Enclosure for Neotropical Otters
For the second consecutive year, La Aurora wins the prize for the best venue remodeling. The new enclosure of Neotropical Otters, was submitted to the qualification by the AZCARM jury and was elected.
The innovative design, its resemblance to the rivers where the otter lives and the educational component of the enclosure, place the La Aurora otter enclosure as the best enclosure of the year 2014 in the AZCARM.
