Strengthen health care in San Francisco El Alto
San Francisco El Alto, Totonicapán, Oct 6 (AGN).- Bringing closer and strengthening health services in the country is a fundamental factor for the Government of Guatemala. Given this, the improvement of the Permanent Attention Center (CHAP) of San Francisco El Alto, Totonicapán.
According to Florinda García, representative of the CAP, the establishment is in the number three position of the care provided at the departmental level.
Better performance has been seen in the staff, people have come more willingly and better attention is provided, Garcia mentioned to the Guatemalan News Agency.
With these actions, residents receive specialized attention in various areas, which is stipulated in the Social Development pillar of the General Government Policy (PGG).
Renovated areas
According to the authorities, the improvement of this center includes:
- porcelain floor
- painting on walls
- false sky
- illumination
- windows
- sanitary Service
- signaling of areas and emergencies
Among other CAP improvements are administrative and maternity.
Other spaces
The more than 60,000 beneficiaries will now be able to count on new services, thanks to the construction of a dentistry, laboratory and collection center building.
In addition, the CAP will help serve residents of various communities that require it, since the objective of the central government is to bring health services closer to Guatemalans.

These centers have external consultation, emergencies and stabilization, among others. Each center has trained personnel to serve the surrounding population.
