More than a week has passed since the formation of a sinkhole of great magnitude in zone 6 of Villa Nueva.
This week repair work on the sinking is expected to continue, where two people died after falling into the sinking.

“A technical table made up of different institutions is planned that can carry out a preliminary analysis of the studies to define a route for the design and planning of the works on the Calzada Concepción,” Morataya reported.
These studies seek clarify the causes for which the collector collapsed on September 26. “The study of soils is important to be able to verify the depth at which the new collector to be worked can be installed and protect the life of this one so that it can prevail for a long time,” Morataya said.
The meeting between the representatives of the institutions will be held on the morning of Monday, October 3, and during the week infrastructure and excavation works will be seen to reach the entire collector. It is estimated that more than 450 meters will be excavated.
For his part, Henry Quevedo, traffic spokesman for Villa Nueva, reported that the alternate route to enter the municipality is maintained. This is for Catalina to the sixth avenue of zone 6 and the exits for the fifth street and the first street to the CA-9.
The alternate routes will last while the works on Calzada Concepción are finished, although there is no estimate yet.
