The 15th Ministerial Meeting of the Global Governance Group is held

Guatemala City, Sep 21 (AGN).- The Government of Guatemala participated through the Minister of Economy, Janio Rosales, in the 15th Ministerial Meeting of the Global Governance Group (3G).

This event, according to the Ministry of Economy (mineco), was held at the facilities of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Singapore, in New York, United States.

Dialogue

During this meeting, exchanged views with the G20 Troika and the President-elect of the 77th United Nations General Assembly, facing the great challenges that we must overcome to ensure the future of our countries, peoples and planet, indicates the Mineco.

This meeting is part of the work agenda that the Guatemalan delegation solves in the framework of the 77th Period of sessions of the United Nations.

President Alejandro Giammattei, during his work tour, has held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Turkey, Paraguay and Serbia.

This includes speaking at the Summit on Transforming Education, as well as at the Atlantic Council.

Speech

In his speech before the UN, the Guatemalan dignitary made a call for peace and resolution of world conflicts.

I want to state emphatically that peace is possible. And the commitment of maintaining it and international security can be achieved, he emphasized before that high world body.
