More than 1 million 200 thousand lack of police record extended in the year
Guatemala City, Sep 25 (AGN).- From January to date, the National Civil Police (PNC) has issued 1 million 214 thousand 32 lack of police records requested by the Guatemalan population.
This service, in charge of the General Subdirectorate of Information and Communication Technologies of the police entity, is provided online and in person, the PNC indicates in an official statement.

Of the total documents issued, 302,344 were in person, while 911,688 were online.
The PNC highlights that it is estimated that 1,500 people are served daily in person and approximately 4,600 online.
In order to obtain this document, a payment of 30 quetzales must be made in the banks of the system, indicated.

On the other hand, the authorities call on the population not to be surprised by people who make high charges for obtaining police records.
Guatemalans are urged to report any criminal act through the PNC telephone number 110.
